Istanbul - the city straddling two continents, tenuously holding a place as a bridge between East and West. Dripping with history, the buildings display the drastic contrast between the new world and the old, gripping unto the past and hoping for a future. Similar ancient spirits exist here as in Baghdad, but they are contrasted by a hyper mega city undergoing modern reclamation and bustling with untold possibilities. From the past to the present, Istanbul is static, yet dynamic, suspended with tension.

What a wonderful artist you are! Do you market them online? When Baghdad is secure, you will be one of the most celebrated and successful leaders in your blooming economy.

Dear Baghdad Artist,

I think your works are very beautiful and expressive. I think that Zahra is right about what she said regarding your emotional release in your works.

You definately produce paintings which I would love to have ;)

These are such luminous and beautiful works--I came here via another Iraqi site (sorry, I don't even remember which one) and have bookmarked your place, however shifting it may be, so that I can return.

Thank you for a moment of beauty.

There are excellent elements in these works. You may wish to try to put more of your vision into your art. Have you studied Picasso?
